Michael Calicott brings more than a decades of extensive banking and financial expertise to the world of small business bookkeeping. A proud graduate of Morehouse College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting, he built the foundation of his career at JPMorgan Chase, working in the Treasury department. There, he gained valuable experience managing a $200 billion liability portfolio, executing multi-billion dollar capital management strategies, and sharpening his understanding of the intricate systems that keep large financial institutions running smoothly.
Over the years, his career led him to UBS where he broadened his expertise to include capital risk management and liquidity management, sharpening his ability to forecast business activity, stress test balance sheets, and develop comprehensive funding strategies.
With over 10 years of firsthand experience navigating the complexities of the banking world, Michael understands the unique financial challenges that businesses—especially small and growing ones—face every day. His passion for finance goes far beyond numbers on a page.
